The journey starts from Kanyakumari in a fleet of electric vehicles. The event is organised in association with Environmental NGOs of India and the primary focus will be on educating people to opt for lower emission modes of transport. Green voyage is a carbon-neutral journey and hence the individual emissions will be offset by planting sufficient trees upon completion of the journey. Awareness sessions on sustainability and reducing GHG emissions are planned at predesignated destinations falling en route. The epic journey endeavour to break misconceptions about electric vehicles and encourage many more to adopt sustainable travel options.
